AMS Pools can provide expert consulting and analysis of your facility’s requirements. From service only programs to repairs and upgrades to a complete management package including lifeguards, you can relax and spend time enjoying your pool facility knowing you are safely managed and maintained by our professional and experienced staff. We have provided our services for neighborhood pools in the North Metro Atlanta area since our company was formed in 1997.
AMS Pools is the only Atlanta area Pool Management Company affiliated with Jeff Ellis and Associates. Jeff Ellis and Associates licenses over 90% of all major U.S. water parks including White Water, Lake Lanier Beach & Waterpark, and Disney.
Why AMS is the best?
All of our lifeguards are re-certified in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Oxygen and AED every year to keep their skills sharp. Most of the certifications our competitors use allow their guards to renew the lifeguard portion of the certification every two years.
Under the Jeff Ellis certification, we are REQUIRED to hire unbiased auditors to test our lifeguard staff to ensure that AMS Pools is holding them to the high standard required. Audits are expensive (over $1000 per audit) so most of our competitors do not perform this task. We think it is important that we are held accountable by an outside organization.
Our staffing policies allow us to have multiple “on call” guards on a daily basis that can be dispatched immediately upon need. During the summer season, we employ a staff of approximately 800, mostly lifeguards. If you are interested in summer employment, please visit our Lifeguard Jobs page. We have a comprehensive initial and ongoing training program for future lifeguards. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age. Lifeguard duties include maintenance and cleaning responsibilities and require an excellent work ethic.

Kyle has been an employee since 1997. Kyle’s main focus over the summer is safety and customer retention. His favorite part of the job is building leaders by teaching them the skills they need to be successful.
Chris Dreybus
Vice President & Owner
Chris has been an employee since 2003. His passion is for teaching and helping others become future leaders. Chris is an Instructor Trainer for Jeff Ellis & Associates and is AMS Pools’ number one safety advocate.

Lexy has been an employee since 2021. Her passion is forming great leaders and laying an early foundation with tools that will set the lifeguards up for success in their future careers.
Patrick Lavelle

Patrick started as a lifeguard at AMS Pools in 2008. He brings valuable pool knowledge and experience to his Director Role from years of management at AMS Pools and retail experience at Leslie’s Pool Supplies.
