AMS Pools specializes in providing lifeguard services, service & maintenance, pool renovation and repair, and new pool construction for both commercial and residential swimming pools. AMS Pools can provide expert consulting and analysis of your facility’s requirements. From service only programs to repairs and upgrades to a complete management package including lifeguards, you can relax and spend time enjoying your pool facility knowing you are safely managed and maintained by our professional and experienced staff. We have provided our services for neighborhood pools in the North Metro Atlanta area since our company was formed in 1997.

Why is AMS the best?
1. All of our lifeguards are required to attend a one hour In-Service Training WEEKLY from May-August. At In-Service Trainings we hold our lifeguards accountable for maintaining their lifeguard skills so that they remain confident, poised and professional each day they are in the lifeguard stand. All of our In-Service Trainings are led by Certified Instructors.
2. All of our lifeguards are re-certified in Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, Oxygen and AED every year to keep their skills sharp. Most of the certifications our competitors use allow their guards to renew the lifeguard portion of the certification very two years.
3. Under the Jeff Ellis certification, we are REQUIRED to hire unbiased auditors to test our lifeguard staff to ensure that AMS Pools is holding them to the high standard required. Audits are expensive (over $1000 per audit) so most of our competitors do not perform this task. We think it is important that we are held accountable by an outside organization.

Our staffing policies allow us to have multiple “on call” guards on a daily basis that can be dispatched immediately upon need. During the summer season, we employ a staff of approximately 500, mostly lifeguards. If you are interested in summer employment, please visit our Lifeguard Jobs page. We have a comprehensive initial and ongoing training program for future lifeguards. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age. Lifeguard duties include maintenance and cleaning responsibilities and require an excellent work ethic.
