Welcome Back To AMS For The 2022 Season!

If you received a letter inviting you back for the 2022 season, please sign that and return it via email to If you did not receive a letter welcoming you back or a bonus but would like to work for AMS again, please contact Lexy Kos at to ask about employment for the upcoming season.

Please remember that these jobs are in high demand. Our biggest recruiting is late October – February. We hire roughly 550 employees (total needed to staff our pools) between these months. Sign up now to lock in your job for the 2022 season.

We encourage you to sign up ASAP. With 200 guards already certified, we will fill up quickly. Remember, the sooner you sign up, the better chance of securing your requested pool.

We are currently in the works of planning safe early Spring training classes, but if we cannot reserve a facility where we feel we can be distant and follow guidelines then we will certify you at a local neighborhood pool beginning in early April. It will be a returning guard course still shorter assuming everyone comes prepared. We will keep you updated through the entire process.

Steps For Securing A Job For The 2022 Season:

  1. Fill out the Returning Guard Commitment Letter for 2022 by emailing Lexy. Be sure to request the pool you would like to work at for the summer of 2022 if you have not done so already. All pool requests will be guaranteed, as spots allow (first come first serve), for lifeguards if you sign up before January 1, 2022.
  2. If you have not completed the challenge course, you will be contacted as soon as we have dates set for safe training classes. As said above, we are in the works of planning safe Spring training classes, but if we are unable to follow guidelines then we will certify at local neighborhood pools in early April. You will be kept updated through the process.

Make Money Now!

One of the major factors in being successful year after year is the recruitment of responsible, motivated employees. We need your help to spread the word! We will pay you $25 for each person you recruit which will be added to your first paycheck in May. In order to get credit you must do the following. Simply have them visit They will need to go to Lifeguards/Lifeguard Jobs/New Applicants to fill out an application and indicate you referred them. They also need to attend one of our signup meetings and make their first payment of $100. This offer ends on March 1, 2022.
